I just wanted to post this out here for any swimmers in the state of the Colorado who want to get back to the pool, or just any swimmers who would be interested in signing this in general (and who knows: if Colorado reopens pools, maybe more states might follow). There is a petition to get the govenor of Colorado to allow lap pools to reopen and for teams to be allowed host practice. The petition so far has over 6,000 people who have signed, and is nearing the 7,500 benchmark, and it would mean so much if we could keep this momentum going. Even in the case that the petition does not meet its end goal of opening pools in Colorado by June, if it reaches the state government it will at least send enough of a message to let them know that people want to swim again, and the pools may be able to open sooner than letter Thank you so much for time!
