So over here, everything is still in a soft lock down. Gyms aren't open blablabla... What has opened up though are the swimming pools. A couple of months already. The thing is that you have to make reservations 2 weeks in advance of a 1 hour session where it pre-covid it used to be 3 hours. Which is fine. I'm enjoying my sessions. I go 4 times a week. Training for Tri.
I noticed it takes half an hour for me to really get warmed up and find my groove. Which leaves me with half hour of good quality time when I'm aiming for longer endurance sessions... It's less of a problem when I'm focused on technique and drills for that hour.
Does any of you do dry-land warm up before to shorten the warm up in the swimming pool? What's a good routine?
Healthy greets.
