My first 2k

My first 2k

I started swimming last year and I really feel I learned a lot. My goal is to be able to swimm 2k per training, with no or with minimum rest..

In the beginning I was swimming ~700m per training (in series), then I started using paddles and pull buoy and it really helped me improve various aspects of my form.

Now I'm swimming 1000+ depending on my mood.. This is the latest training I did (FIRST 2K :D) and I would like to hear your opinion ..

This was the drill:

  1. 250m with no equipment
  2. 1min rest
  3. 250m with pull buoy
  4. 1min rest
  5. 300m with pull buoy and paddles
  6. 1 min rest
  7. 275m no equipment
  8. 3min rest - some dude asked me about the paddles :D
  9. 375m with pull buoy
  10. 1min rest
  11. 150m no equipment
  12. 1min 30s rest
  13. 150m no equipment
  14. 1min rest
  15. 250m no equipment
