Looking to see if Apple Watch series 5 is tracking calorie burn accurately, can you guys help me? I don’t really know how to calculate this stuff on my own so any formulas or things like that would be super appreciated :)
Data from watch:
1650 yard front crawl - 25yd pool averaging 15 or 16 strokes per 25yd.
250 yard breaststroke - 25yd pool averaging 8 or 9 strokes per 25yd.
32 minutes swimming and 13 minutes resting. Avg heart rate of 158 bpm. I tried to stick to 200 and 400 yard groups but didn’t record them.
The watch says I burned 350 “active calories” and 405 total calories. I’ve seen some articles saying these numbers can be a bit inflated and others saying it’s pretty much dead on. What do you think?
