Hi guys. Weird question here but i hope you get why I'm asking and don't think im a knob. Firstly I'd like to say that everyone is welcome to have a good swim and this is not a rant about slow swimmers, infact the opposite, I'd like us to all get on well and enjoy our pool togethor.
Moving on,
So, with covid, breastrokers can't go in the fast lane cos of covid with no overtaking but that's my stroke. I can sometimes get a good swim with a quiet pool but I'm generally alot faster than the swimmers in the med lane (around a mile in 36 mins for context) and I find myself being up people's butt's which I imagine for them is quite annoying! The issue is I don't enjoy swimming a whole session front crawl. When I feel I need a good intense session I do go in but I also enjoy swimming to relax.
I have a kickboard i am using alot to not to annoy slower paced swimmers in the medium lane that slows me down so im doing alot of kickboard drills but I get a bit bored, also my arms get a bit stiff 🤣. Does anyone know any other exercises I can do to swim at a slower pace whilst also having a good workout? Or anything else I can do with a kickboard other than a classic kick drill?
Bonus points for videos so I can have a look.
Thanks 🥰
