Hi all, I wasn’t sure where to post this, so I thought I would start here. I swam on a team from ages 5-13, but quit because of school restrictions. I still continued to swim for leisure until about 16 at the gym or the pool in my backyard. Fast forward about 5 years, throughout college I neglected my eating habits and didn’t work out so I have gained about 80 pounds. I have tried so many different types of workouts but nothing is enjoyable as swimming. I broke my ankle Jan 2020 and all other workouts are really difficult, since I lost a lot of strength in my ankle making it hard to run.
I want to get back in the water but don’t want to go to hard to fast.
What should I start with? I’m planning on going to the pool like 3 days a week. Thanks in advance!
