Is there an optimal path of the hands/arms underwater, and if so what is that path?

Been swimming for almost 20 years recreationally but I still haven’t broken the 1 minute 100 free standard. I’m athletic, played baseball in college but I just can’t seem to glide fast enough through the water. My best time is about 1:40 for 100 free. Are my feet and hands too small?

I try to use my core and hips to roll my way forward using early hand catching to anchor early where I use my core hips roll to pull my arms through, but still I don’t seem to be able to glide faster. Are my hands and feet too small? That shouldn’t be the case since many 12 year olds can break the 1 minute 100 free standard.
