Hey all. I’ve been swimming for the last month, just trying to maintain my endurance while I recover from a running injury (Achilles).
I usually swim 750m 3x a week (about 15 minutes). I’ve been trying to integrate weight lifting because I’ve been wanting work on my chest, but anytime I hit the weights my shoulders are SO SORE. Any suggestions, or ways you’ve incorporated the two? Swimming doesn’t make my shoulders noticeably more sore than any other muscle group, but there’s something about lifting weights that really wears them out. Where should I start?
