Advice for getting vaccine the day of a meet

Hi guys, I’m getting my first shot of the vaccine the day of an important swim meet. I will be swimming butterfly and freestyle events. I have heard that the vaccine can cause soreness so I was wondering if this will be an issue. Any advice from anyone who’s swam after getting the vaccine would be greatly appreciated
