I've seen a rough guide for running that x amount of lbs lost equates to so many seconds per mile faster. Unfortunately, when looking for some similar equation for swimming I'm flooded with unnecessary info about how good swimming is for losing weight lol.
Generally, I'm just wondering if anyone knows any vague rule like losing 5 lbs will equate to 0.5 seconds off per 100? Or any other type of general this amount of weight loss generally leads to so much time off a mile.
(Obviously, there's a lot of variables at play and I realize swimming is most of all about form, DPS/efficiency, and technique than anything else.)
