What can I do to boost improvement this summer?

I'm 17f and have been competitively swimming for around 6 years. However, I never really took it seriously until about 9 months ago, when I started putting in more work.

I've found that I love swimming. I'm fairly slow but I have been dropping time. My overall goal is to make varsity on my high school team next season.

I need to drop 11 seconds on my 200 free time and 6 seconds on my 500 free time.

I'm committed to putting in the work this summer. I have 5 or 6 2 hour practices a week plus drylands, and meets every other weekend. I'll also be buying a tech suit.

What else can I do to improve? Would other cross training be beneficial? Running? Yoga? How strictly should I control my nutrition? Are there any other things I should focus on, or does anyone have other tips?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
